Annual Hayride Celebration

Saturday, December 20th 6:00pm

2751 N Essel (third Cul de Sac on North Essel Drive)

The Vista Del Rio Residents' Association Board of Directors is happy to once again host our Annual Hayride on the evening of Saturday, December 20th. Hayride begins at 6:00pm and last ride leaves at 7:30pm. Hot chocolate, cider, and snacks will be served. Hayride is FREE to VDR members. Non-members are $5 per adult for hayride; children ride free with accompanying adult.

Community Food Bank food donations of non-perishable foods and cash contributions will be collected at the holiday celebration. new, unwrapped toys for donation to the Toys for Tots Tucson will also be collected. Please come by to visit with neighbors, spend time with the VDR Board, and view the beautiful display of holiday decorations and lights.

Brush & Bulky - Week of December 29th

The City's Brush & Bulky Plus program is anticipated to start the week of Monday, December 29th. In the interest of a successful Holiday Decoration Contest and Annual Hayride it is recommended to put Brush & Bulky items for collection out after December 20th.

Go to www.tucsonaz.gov/brushandbulky for a complete list of items that can be placed curbside for pick-up. The City's Brush & Bulky Plus program works to make our city and neighborhoods cleaner, more attractive and safer. Please do not block sidewalks or have debris flow onto the street. Box up cacti for safety. The value of our properties also depends on all of us maintaining our yards. For dog walkers: please pick up dog waste to maintain a clean and desirable neighborhood environment.

Roll Offs Scheduled

March 5th - March 9th, 2026

While our request for October 2025 roll offs were not fulfilled, the Board of Directors is happy to inform the Vista Del Rio community of the confirmation of TWO ROLL OFFS scheduled for March 5th -March 9th, 2026. Roll offs are planned to be placed at the traditional locations: the intersection of Rio Verde Drive/La Cienega AND the Northside of the Cultural Park on Camino Montaraz. These roll offs are intended for the use of Vista Del Rio Residents. Please load materials carefully. Please do not overload or stack materials above the top of the roll offs for safety reasons.
